- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Being one of the lucky few who got to fly always made Faye feel special. But then again, she was able to do magic too, which was also pretty special. Not like she was bragging or anything. Except…she kinda was. But the blonde did this a lot. The whole bragging thing. But other people did fly, and she had to remember that. However, she had the ability to make other people fly (using her magic too, who could top that?) and she felt that this made her stand out more than anyone else.
So there she was, Waiting for Cameron Knight, who she took flying lessons with, respectively. Her eyes flickered from the empty room to the door, which was open. The teacher had gone off to get something, and left Faye on her own. Which left her to do what she had been waiting to do all day. The petite girl shut her eyes, and in moments, she was floating, just getting up in the air. Faye opened her eyes, and took off, doing simple laps around the room, just to get warmed up.
Having Tinkerbell’s spirit had its perks. Like flying, and pixie dust, and tinkering. Faye loved all those things. Her emotions getting out of whack wasn’t her favorite thing. It was the actual opposite. She thought about Cam. Peter Pan didn’t have many faults. Besides being self centered, but that seemed like it was it. Or maybe she was wrong? She had never asked Cammy personally, but she decided that she would today.
Faye began then to do a few tricks. A few flips and spins, things she’d learned the past years of attending here. Flying class always meant that she had to wear comfortable clothing. This included black sweat pants, a green top, socks, and green flats. Faye wore her hair in a bun during flying, to really become Tink-like. To her, it helped. It made her feel comfortable.
The blonde stayed up in the air, relaxed and comfortable, almost impatient to start the class. But she had some patience for Cameron. He was her best friend. She had a complicated way of describing exactly how she felt about him. There was the care and compassion she felt, but there was the raging jealousy she felt whenever he was around Dawn, or Angel, or Tiger Lily aka whorebitch. Faye wasn’t about to let any of these bitches girls replace her as Cam’s best friend. Cam and Faye were destined to be best friends. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell? It would be a crime if they weren’t best friends!
Faye was beginning to hover lower, and she frowned. Thinking about him and other girls was the worst thought she could think. Especially when she was flying. She closed her eyes and changed focus, to a memory of her and Cam, outside one night, running around in the woods, away from the school, laughing, just the two of them. Now Faye was up once more, flying happily around the room, doing her tricks to an invisible crowd.
Faye giggled to no one, finishing with a flourish and taking her bow in midair, imaging everyone shouting for an encoure. ”I’m sorry, but that’s all for today.” She said, bowing again and imaging the crowd applauding, loud and thunderous. Faye laughed again, and did a pageant wave before flying over to another part of the room, giggling about her little fantasy.

Cameron absolutely loved Flying class. It was the most funnest and greatest and amazing-est class in the world to him. Sure there was the teacher who always tried to scold him and Faye from flying around too much, 'cause it was "dangerous" or whatever, but how could something so fun be dangerous? It just didn't make any kind of sense.
But Faye agreed with him. Actually, Faye agreed with him a lot of stuff. When he was upset at someone, she always got angry with them and stood up for him. 'Course, Angel did that too, but she wasn't exactly as protective of him, he guessed. Faye usually got super angry and jealous when someone else got too close to him or was mean to him. He really liked that about her, even if sometimes it got annoying. Cameron didn't really mind too much, though. Usually he just brushed it off, seeing as she was a pixie, or at least sorta, and they usually got really jealous.
There was also Dawn, though. Cam really liked her, even though she was a lot older than him. Despite himself, a slight blush crept onto his cheeks and behind his ears. She was just so pretty, though. And nice and gentle and didn't boss people around. She wasn't like a lot of the villain girls around the school, like Ursula and her really skinny friend. What was her name? Cameron scrunched up his nose in thought. It didn't really matter, 'cause she was evil anyway. And anyone evil was just mean in his opinion.
Approaching the door to the classroom, Cam pushed it open slowly. After peeking his head through to investigate, because you never knew when someone mean was sneaking around, Cameron's face lit up in a large grin.
"Tink!" he shouted, body immediately taking flight of its own accord. Zooming across the room, he grabbed the girl in a tight hug. Faye was his bestest best friend and he loved it when he got to see her. After releasing the girl and giving another nervous grin, Cam twirled in the air for a moment.
"It's so cool to have a class with you. Mostly I've just been in boring ones." Here he scrunched his nose again in distaste. "It's all about how to do things right and catching bad people and blah blah blah." Cameron's body slowly lowered itself, before he caught it just above the floor. "But in here everything's so much fun~"
The boy effortlessly laid back and floated slowly as if resting on top of water. This was definitely a favourite form of his when he flew. It was so relaxing and fun, and he couldn't lie that when people looked at him in awe he felt some pride. Cameron liked showing off, what could he say?
"So whaddya wanna do after school?" he asked, giving a cheeky smile towards his best friend, "Why don't we sneak off to the beach?"

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Faye half expected the flying instructor to run in, shouting about how dangerous her actions were, and how she was putting herself into danger, and all those risks, blah blah blah. The teacher told her and Cammy this all the time. But flying was fun. Cam had said that before, and she fully belie ved him. That was because he was right.
Cam was right about everything. Well, usually Faye just agreed with him on most everything. That was always because she cared so deeply about him. Sure, it was sometimes annoying, but…Cam seemed to be okay with it. At least, he never said anything about it to her. And, she had an excuse! She was a bloody pixie. Well, she had the spirit of one. That was the best excuse she could come up with, really.
But sh[be couldn’t help herself whenever Winnie, or Dawn, or even Angel were around. Dawn and Winnie were threats. Cammy blushed around Dawn, and it was more than obvious that Winnie liked Cam. And Faye wasn’t about to let either of them get in her way. Angel was alright, as it seemed like their relationship was more sibling-like than romancey. But she had an idea about how to take care of Winnie.
There was a creak from the door, and Faye began to fall, worried that the instructor was coming in. At the sight of blonde hair, however, made her shoot back up. ”Tink!” ”Peter!” He had taken up to calling her Tink, and she called him Peter in return. They were really cute, the two of them. People noticed it. She grinned when he shot up in the air at just her sight. That made her feel loads better. Cameron hugged her tight, and she returned his hug, pulling him against her, her nose inhaling his hair. It smelled like the woods. A great smell. Cam was Faye’s other half. These two were two peas in a pod. She was always happy to see him. He finally released her, and she smiled at his nervous grin. He was so cute.
”It’s so cool to have a class with you. Mostly I've just been in boring ones." She laughed and nodded in agreement. "It's all about how to do things right and catching bad people and blah blah blah." She sighed. ”I know. I have the Sidekick class. Talk about boring!” And she wasn’t lying. However, her friend Meeko kinda made it better. He reminded Faye of Cameron, and she was quite cute. ”And I’m glad to have a class with you too. More Cam time for me. And flying’s fun too!” She grinned. Faye flew after him, laying on her tummy, watching him. He looked so innocent and relaxed. She blinked, thinking about the things she wanted to do. The things that would totally be so inappropriate to do right then. And in general. Crossing that best friend line wasn’t the best option until she thought it out more.
”So whaddya wanna do after school?” She thought for a moment. ”Anything, as long as it’s with you, Cammy.” She giggled at his cheeky smile. ”Why don’t we sneak off to the beach?” She smirked. ”That sounds…absolutely perfect! Just the two of us, right?” She questioned, making sure.

Cameron's feet propelled him slightly through the air, slowly floating with ease. He sort of wished someone else was here, not because he didn't like spending time with Faye, but so he could show off a little. He loved when they were alone, but she was so good at flying that he couldn't make her jealous. Not that he'd want to, of course. He wouldn't know, but he'd seen even men get scared of her when she was angry. Thinking on it, he gave a tiny giggle. Sometimes they even said sorry 'cause she was so scary.
”I know. I have the Sidekick class. Talk about boring!”
Sticking out his tongue in distaste, Cameron hovered closer to Tink. "You're already a great sidekick," he replied, scrunching his nose, "You don't need some teacher telling you how you should act. I like you just how you are, pixie dust and all!" To emphasize this point, Cam reached out to brush some of the magical substance off Faye's shoulder and grinned.
”And I’m glad to have a class with you too. More Cam time for me. And flying’s fun too!”
"Are you kidding? Flying's the most funnest thing in the world!" the blonde replied, waving his arms dramatically.
”Anything, as long as it’s with you, Cammy. That sounds…absolutely perfect! Just the two of us, right?”
Cameron blinked and tapped his chin. "Yeah, sure! I mean, I was thinking of bringing Winnie, 'cause she's having some trouble flying and she asked for help and all, but I could do it with her some other time." It's true, she wasn't all that great at it, but she was definitely trying! Cam had seen her float a few times and even manage to go a few feet around before he had to catch her.
"Yeah, we don't hafta bring her if you don't want, Tink," he confirmed, before smiling and poking her nose gently.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The girl blinked, watching Cam, wondering what was going through his mind. If it was Winnie, Faye would rip out the brunette’s hair from her head! She began to fall, thinking about the stupid girl. She couldn’t even fly! She couldn’t even get up into the air! It made Faye feel so much better. She’d never get as good as her. Cam needed a girl who could keep up with him. Not some stupid girl who could just barely get off the ground. She was on the floor now. Two blue eyes glanced up at Cam, and in an instant, she shot up into the air again.
”Whatcha giggling about, huh?”
She stuck her tongue out with him and giggled. ”You’re already a great sidekick,” Her cheeks turned red. He thought she was great! Next step was him thinking of her as a pretty girl. Prettier than Dawn, or so stupid she can’t fly Winnie, or Angel, or any girl in the entire school! "You don't need some teacher telling you how you should act. I like you just how you are, pixie dust and all!" He brushed her shoulder, and she watched the glittery dust fall to the ground. ”I know! But, there’re some nice boys in the class. I’m pretty sure I’m the only girl in the class, but...whatever.” Faye grinned.
"Are you kidding? Flying's the most funnest thing in the world!" She laughed. ”I love it!” The blonde did a flip.
"Yeah, sure! I mean, I was thinking of bringing Winnie, 'cause she's having some trouble flying and she asked for help and all, but I could do it with her some other time." HE WAS THINKING WHAT?! That was it. Faye was not taking this sitting down. Winnie Taylor was dead. As dead as she could get. And Cameron was NOT helping her do shit. She just needed someone to get rid of the bitch for her. Damon Peklo was her guy, then. ”I’d rather it be just us, Cammy.” She said, giving him her best puppy dog eyes/face look. He couldn’t say no to that!
"Yeah, we don't hafta bring her if you don't want, Tink," Faye giggled and wiggled her nose when he touched it. ”Thank you, Peter.” She hugged him tight. ”You’re the best.”

”Whatcha giggling about, huh?”
Giving a cheeky grin, Cameron hung himself upside down. "I'm laughin' 'cause of how even grown ups get afraid of you when you're angry." Laughing, he swung the right way again, hands on his hips in a confident stance.
”I know! But, there’re some nice boys in the class. I’m pretty sure I’m the only girl in the class, but... whatever.”
Blue eyed widened considerably, before a mischievous smile spread over boyish lips. Leaning forward, Cam touched his forehead with Faye's. "Does that mean you gotta boy~friend?" He heard her say "nice boys", doesn't that mean she likes someone?
When the blonde thanked him for not bringing Winnie along, Cameron just smiled in response. It wasn't a big deal at all. He'd just take her some other time, 'cause he really wanted to. And besides, the beach was a good place, 'specially the water 'cause if she fell, then she won't get hurt that bad. Not that Cammy wouldn't be there to catch her, 'cause he'd always be there if she needed him. He liked her, even if she did talk a lot and was kinda bossy. She was still really nice and liked going places with him.
As he was hugged, the boy just laughed and hugged his Tink back, before floating backward on his back again, arms crossed behind his head.
It was a little saddening though, Cameron guessed. What if that comment about nice boys meant something? If Faye got a boyfriend, then there'd be no more room for him to fly around with her and then he'd be alone. Granted, he had Winnie and all, but Faye was Tinkerbell! She couldn't just leave for some..big, strong, grown up man, right?
Unwittingly, the boy's gentle hovering slowly began to descend. With pouting lips, he shot forward, and hugged his best friend around the middle, burying his face in her stomach.
"You're not gonna leave 'cause that's not fair and I won't let you!" he shouted, voice muffled and coming off far more childish than he intended. "I can beat any grown up or student at flying and--and sword fighting and races and all that! You don't need anyone to be gross and make kissy faces with, right?" Here, he retracted his face slowly, gazing upward at Tink, lips in an angry pout.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - He had a cute laugh, and his grin made her feel a little dizzy. Dizzy in a good way, though. "I'm laughin' 'cause of how even grown ups get afraid when you get mad.” Faye giggled. ”I know. But that’s because I want them to be scared, y’know. Grown ups are just…weird.” She giggled again, keeping the truth in her still alive for Cameron. The fact that he was thinking of her was pretty great too.
Seeing those blue eyes widen made her raise a brow. His grin gave her notice. Faye’s forehead met Cam’s, and she touched his nose with hers. "Does that mean you gotta boy~friend?" She stared at him and sighed. ”Nope. I don’t.” She smiled, wishing only to add that the only boyfriend she had wasn’t her boyfriend, except in her imagination.
He only smiled, and she felt on top again. But this made her think over what she was gunna have that Hades kid do to Winnie, when she asked him. He could mame her? Or injure her. But killing wasn’t an option, obviously. All she needed to do was not let Cameron know what she was up to. Or he’d get upset. And she couldn’t deal with him being upset with her! That was just not an option.
Faye wrapped her arms around Cam, holding him tight until he broke away from her. She laughed. ”You’re funny, y’know that?” She said, giggly still.
The blonde thought again about the boys in her class. There were a few villain sidekicks, some princess and prince sidekicks, and then there were hero sidekicks. She felt into the tail end group. But she didn’t like being a sidekick. A best friend was the better title, but no one seemed to really agree with her there.
Cammy began to descend, and she herself frowned, hating to see Cammy unhappy in any way. But this also made her wonder what, exactly, he was thinking about. That was until she felt a face bury itself into her stomach. Cam was hugging her. She ran her hands through his hair, a small smile crossing her lips.
”You’re not gonna leave ‘cause that’s not fair and I won’t let you!”
Faye looked shocked. ”Cammy, I’d never leave you! What’d make you think that?” She asked, now hugging him the best she could. "I can beat any grown up or student at flying and--and sword fighting and races and all that! You don't need anyone to be gross and make kissy faces with, right?" She listened to him and she frowned, thinking the same things. She was better than Winnie in every way! He didn’t need her. Cam had her, and didn’t need Winnie! ”No, of course not, Cammy.” She put her chin on his head for a moment, giving his hair a gentle, little kiss. ”I’ve got you. I don’t need anyone else for anything.” She said with a smile. He finally broke away from her.
Seeing the boy get possessive and jealous was kinda cute. She hugged him. ”Cam, really. Why would you even think a thing like that? I’d never leave you. Ever.” She held him tight, wishing that she could never let him go.

Cameron was jealous, yeah, sure, what about it? Faye was his bestest best friend and if some other guy was gonna come along and make kissy faces and all that gross stuff and steal her away, that just wasn't fair!
"No, of course not, Cammy. I’ve got you. I don’t need anyone else for anything."
Okay, that helped a little. But that wouldn't always be true, would it? Faye was a girl, and even though she wasn't a normal girl, 'cause most girls talk too much and make gaga faces at older boys and talk about what they're gonna wear tomorrow, she still was one and eventually she'd want a big strong guy to look out for her and take care of her and be all sappy and romantic and Cameron couldn't do that. He wasn't gonna be a man, and he didn't know how to be romantic because that word was just weird anyway.
"Cam, really. Why would you even think a thing like that? I’d never leave you. Ever."
The blonde stared up at his friend with a determined purse of his lips, eyes giving way to the slightest bit of moisture before he squeezed them shut in defiance. He wasn't crying because boys don't cry. Only girls do that and he wasn't a girl and besides, he was just being jealous, not sad. They were completely different things.
"Well you're older than me," he muttered, his face taking on a more sullen look, "and you're gonna..grow up soon. Grown up promises don't mean anything, an' I believe you right now 'cause you're not a grown up, and maybe you'll never grow up, 'cause I'm not ever growing up!" Cam's lips twitched into a childish grin, nose scrunching happily, "And if I'm not growing up, well, I'll figure out a way for you never to either and then we can play forever, right?"
It was a bit astonishing how quickly his thought process changed, not to mention his emotions, even during what should be a sad situation. Cameron honestly never noticed his rapid mood swings however, because he rarely questioned anything he did. Impulse was how he lived, and anything else was too boring.
Pulling away, the boy took hold of Faye's hand. "So how about it, Tink? Never grow up?"

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Faye really did want a boyfriend. Cammy would be the perfect boyfriend, even if he was immature. She loved that about him. He brought out another side of Faye that was rare. And it wasn’t her jealous side, because, well, everyone knew about that. It was the playful little girl that she wished she could always be.
But…she didn’t want to leave Cammy! Not for some guy who’d just use her and then toss her away like trash. But…she was a teenage girl who wanted to have a little bit of fun. And Cammy would have fun. He just didn’t see kissing and hugging as fun as Faye did. But she didn’t care. She still loved him, with all her heart. And until anyone made an attempt to change that, well, she’d still love him. Unless somehow, some guy swept her off her feet. This wasn’t at all likely.
Faye’s blue eyes locked with Cam’s when he stared up at her, and she felt her heart melt. Cam did that to her. Made her feel like she was crushing big time, even though she actually was. But wait. Was that…tears in his eyes? Faye’s lips curled into a tiny, tiny smile, and she used a hand to wipe his eyes, which were shut. ”God, Cammy. You’re so cute.” She hugged him again. He was upset. And it was cute. Even when he wanted to deny it.
”Well you’re older than me,” She sighed, and looked at his face. ”Cam, don’t give me that look, please.” Faye said this and then frowned. "and you're gonna..grow up soon. Grown up promises don't mean anything, an' I believe you right now 'cause you're not a grown up, and maybe you'll never grow up, 'cause I'm not ever growing up!" She stared at him for a moment. ”I don’t want to grow up, you know. I wanna stay young with you.” The blonde smiled. This was when the blonde boy’s facial expression changed and Faye giggled.
"And if I'm not growing up, well, I'll figure out a way for you never to either and then we can play forever, right?" She thought for a moment, and nodded. ”Sounds perfect. Absolutely perfect, Cam.” The girl hugged him again and closed her eyes, taking in his scent and letting a happy sigh escape her lips.
He was sweet. And perfect. And why did she need a guy? Cam was fine. Even if he didn’t wanna kiss and hug that much. She could deal with that. He cared about her, and didn’t act like a jerk.
He finally pulled away and held onto her hand. ”So how about it, Tink? Never grow up?” She nodded. ”Never grow up, Peter.”
