The wind caused the branches of the tree to tap on the window of the room. Dawn blew a strand of hair out of her face in immense boredom and glanced outside at the night sky. As much as she hated the night, she needed to get out of the school. She needed to go for a walk. Her life at the school was so confusing for her at the moment, and she needed to go walking to sort out everything racing through her mind.

With that settled, Dawn threw on her jacket and black shoes and left the dorm, jogging out of the building and getting started on her walk to the park. She observed the scenery and started to hum to herself softly, thinking of Beethoven in her mind. She enjoyed classic music because it was soothing and helped her focus on her work. Rock and everything else she usually listened to just didn't cut it for her when she was working. Sometimes, when she was in an angry mood, it worked, but usually it was a huge distraction that she didn't need.

Once Dawn had arrived at the park, she glanced around with a grin and slowed her pace, wanting to enjoy the scenery and the beauty of nature around her. The trees swayed lightly in the breeze that had picked up, and she wrapped her jacket more comfortably around herself with a slight shudder. She started as something rustled the bushes nearby. Staring at it, she jumped back a few feet when a raven flew out in her direction and landed on the tree nearby. Dawn watched it, an unfamiliar sense of foreboding and anxiousness wrapping itself around her like a blanket. She picked up her pace once more, eyeing the bird warily til it was out of sight.

"Creepy..." Dawn muttered to herself in irritation as she walked along the path in the park. She stopped when she saw and heard nothing. That was just it. What she heard was absolute silence. No animals, no more wind, absolutely nothing moved or sounded around her. Her head snapped around in every direction, her eyes wary and nervous as she waited for anything to start back up. It didn't. "Hello? Anyone here?"

[/color] she asked loudly, to reassure herself that while she was there, the silence wouldn't be complete frightening.

Real good, Dawn...way to clear your mind...going to a creepy park at night! she mentally slapped herself.
