Kida has a problem.
Her family is cursed to constantly replay the destruction of the Atlantian royal family. Meaning, everytime a girl comes to the age of 13, she is shadowed by the spirit of Princess Kidagakash. Her parents then die. The mother by disappearing (the crystal the girl is given will glow more brightly). The father by mysterious heart condition. When the girl grows up and has a daughter, the cycle repeats. Only she will be in the role of the queen, and her daughter the role of princess.
She's searching for answers.
Kida's father insisted in his will that her inheritance should pay for her to come to the Academy. She came with one sole mission: to stop the cycle for good. And, in her mind, the way to stop it is to never marry and never have children. If her family line dies, the curse dies with them...right?
When the answer is staring her in the face.
Milo Thatch. He's the one that helped the original Princess Kida. It's the only way to stop the cycle. But the modern-day Kida insists on staying away from romance. She refuses to get married or have children, as long as this curse still haunts her family. So how will this modern-day Milo catch her attention?
If only she could see it.
