OutfitAnn sipped her coffee as she looked through a new mechanics magazine. She was almost drooling over the new models, human and machine. She really couldn't help it. Next to her was her homework for her sidekick class. It was done now, hence the reason she was reading the magazine. Ann soon grew tired of the magazine and threw it into her backpack for her to read later. She leaned on her arm, sipping her coffee. She was simply and utterly bored, no other words for it. She could have gone back to her dorm but she didn't want to, there was nothing to do there other an do more homework and she had done enough for the day. She sighed and reached into her pocket. She counted her change and then smiled, standing and walking over to the counter. "A tall coffee please," she ordered. "Black, please."

Kida walked in out of mere boredom. Her princess classes were duller than she thought possible. What she really wanted was to be in the heroes class, sparring with the other mountains of muscle. But no, a nice little princess didn't do that. She sighed and looked around. She didn't even like coffee. Why was she here? She was just about to walk out, when she noticed someone. The girl had long black hair and looked so familiar, Kida could've sworn they knew each other.
Part of her recognized this feeling. It wasn't her memory that made the girl so familiar. It was the spirit of the Atlantian Princess. Usually Kida tried to resist the spirit, more out of pure spite than anything else. But this time the spirit would not be silent. Kida walked over almost involuntarily and stood behind the girl. She was still thinking of ways to begin a conversation when all of the sudden words started popping out of her mouth.
"It's strange to see you without the grease." The voice sounded different than Kida's own. Older, confident. A name popped into her head. Audrey It was both familiar and foreign at the same time. There was another image with it. Tall, lanky, wide specs and a shock of red hair. He was somehow associated with this girl. And Kidagakash enjoyed that fact very much.

OutfitAnn jumped slightly when she heard the voice behind her. Looking around, she saw a blonde...well, almost silver haired woman with big blue eyes standing behind her. She blinked a few times before the woman's words had registered. "It's strange to see you without the grease." No one had actually see her in grease. She was careful to keep herself clean for her classmate's sake rather than her own. So this girl was either a stalker (which she highly doubted) or someone with a spirit who knew her own. Ann smiled. "I'm guessing your Kida...right?" She was talking about her spirit, but the people around them must think she was talking about her name. "Come and sit with me, we'll catch up."

Kida nodded before she even knew what she was doing. The spirit seemed to be growing stronger by the day. Kida reached up and fingered the crystal. It kept her feeling young and vibrant. But feeling young and vibrant didn't matter much if you died when your daughter turned 13. She frowned, thankful she still had control over her face.
"It's been a long time, Audrey." The words slipped out on their own as Kida sat in a chair. Images started flashing through her head. Memories that weren't hers. Audrey bending over a car engine. Audrey punching someone on the shoulder. "Ah, 2 for flinching!" She saw the same man from before, with the same lonliness.
Can I at least have control over my emotions? She thought, annoyed. The spirit used to be this quiet thing that occasionally gave her strange dreams. Now it was filling her head up with old memories and using her mouth to speak. She couldn't help but be nervous. Would there be a time when she couldn't fight the princess anymore? Would the spirit just take over?

Ann's eyes narrowed. "Ok, let's get a few things straight ok?" she said. "One, my name is Ann, not Audrey. Maybe my spirit is but I am NOT me, understand?" She then sighed. I'm sorry, I don't mean to snap."
Ann pointed to a table and sat down at it. "When did you get here?" she asked. "And do you want anything to drink?"

Kida shook her head, her cheeks flushed. Kidagakash was getting harder to keep under the surface. "Sorry, she has a mind of her own." Kida said sheepishly. She was mortified that she let the Princess walk all over her like that. And in public too! Damn curse. She thought angrily.
"I've been here for a while." Kida said, sitting down. "Years, actually. But I wasn't exactly in to socializing until recently." She prayed Ann wouldn't ask her why. When she thought about her parents, the spirit had a tendency of jumping in till Kida's head was so full of tragedy she wanted to sob. "No thanks, I'm alright."

Outfit"Sorry, she has a mind of her own."Ann nodded. "I understand, mine does too, but we are so alike that it doesn't really make a difference anymore."
"I've been here for a while. Years, actually. But I wasn't exactly in to socializing until recently."[/i] Ann raised an eyebrow at the answer she was given. "Ok..." She didn't ask way, it was none of her business. Sipping her coffee, she almost studied Kida. There was silence for several seconds. "So..." she said finally. "What are you doing in a coffee shop when you don't want coffee?

"Wandering." She shrugged. "The Princess classes...aren't really my style." That could've been the Princess or herself. In that respect they were very much alike. Sitting still and looking pretty wasn't exactly something she was interested in. She sighed, leaning back in her chair. Another reason she hated the classes. She liked slouching. "And you? Why are you here all by yourself?" Part of her wondered if Ann was as lonely as she felt. And if she came here to be alone, I'm just intruding. Ah, the built in pessimist in her brain. She hated him more than anything.
