*i'm no supermodel,
Eyes: Mallory posses wide, round, hazle eyes that are very expressive.
Skin: Mallory has very tan skin, thanks to her heirtage. she keeps her skin moisterized and so there for it is also very soft.
Build: Petite
Appearance:Mallory is a petite girl who stands at five feet and five inches tall. Her weight, well every girl has her secrets, and this is something Mallory is most definitely keeping to herself. Besides, isn't it insulting to ask a girl her weight? Um can you say yes? Anyways, she has an olive complexion that she was lucky enough to receive through her Greek heritage - both of Mallory's parents were born in Greece, although she herself was born in America. Mallory has her mother's wide eyed look, and even her mother's eye coloring, hazel. This is a blessing, at least to Mallory, because she could have gotten her father's small, plain brown, sequent-y, eyes, which she herself would not find attractive. Her skin is easily irritated, and so she is very careful on the types of jewelry puts on as well as the soap and shampoo that she uses, not wanting to break out in hives. She does wear moisturizer to help keep her skin silky soft.
Mallory's hair is her pride and joy, to put quiet frankly. While she does take pride in her body, and her overall appearances, she has always been picky over her hair. Mallory has always taken very good care of her hair, brushing it thoroughly cleaning it all the time, and Mallory rarely uses any curling iron or straightening irons, not want to damage her hair. She does use hair spray and gel, but only in moderation. Mallory had been blessed with having perfectly wavy, almost curly even, hair which generally makes styling her hair easy enough, scrunch every so often as she lets it hair dry. She has never before dyed her hair, keeping its natural dark brown shade instead of going blonde like so many girls she knew from school had done so far. Blonde may be in style, but brunettes never went out of style, is the way Mallory sees things.
Pretty girls dress to impress, or at least that was what Mallory's mother had always told Mallory growing up. Of course, her mother probably had a different meaning then the way Mallory had actually taken hold of her mother's words. Mallory has always dressed in all the lastest fashions, taking advantage of her family's wealth. Although her mother was the one who taught her the lesson in fashion and when to dress up, and of course when it was okay too look causal, her mother definitely does not always approve of Mallory's choice of clothes, most of which are actually very revealing. Mallory loves wearing dresses and high heels over jeans and sneakers, although she does know better then wearing a dress every day to school, and generally saves the dresses for days that she considers to be important. Mallory use to spend majority of her time in the mornings getting dressed, and 'prettified', however certain circumstances has gotten the best of Mallory, and now she spends less than half the time she use to getting ready.
*this is me,
Weaknesses:
- LOVE: Some may say that love is a strength not a weakness, but to Mallory, loving someone is only a weakness. Falling in love, to Mallory, just means that someone can take advantage of you, and this is not something she is ever going to allow herself to do ever again. She's been scared once, and frankly, that's enough for her.
- STUBBORN: Mallory is definitely set in her ways. She always has to have it her way, or at least mostly always. When she sets her mind to something, she refuses to let anything get in the way.
- SARACASTIC: Mallory has always been the saracastic type of person, which can either be very annoying, or very funny, depending on the people and the situation.
- FRANK: Mallory has always spoken whats on her mind, although she does tend to be a little careful around _ _ _ when it comes to speaking her mind becase he could cause her even more problems.
- FOOLISH: Ok so this is not something that Mallory is actually likely to ever admit to anyone, although she probably would admit it to herself, but she has done one too many foolish things in her life. Like the whole thing with Lucas and _ _ _, yeah that was a big foolish mistake on her part.
Strengths
- DECISIVE: Mallory has always known what she's wanted. She knows the things she wants to do right then and there, and the things that she wants to avoid. She's generally the best peson to figure out something to do because she can make a quick decision on something to do.
- CLEVER: Although mostly, this is more or less her saracasim talking. Mallory is actually very clever, and she quickly grasps things.
- RATIONAL: Mallory doesn't let her emotions get the better part of her, and thinks rational in almost all decisions. What is best for her, for her family? Should I punch you in the face for being a jerk, or walk away.
- SECRETIVE: Or is that a weakness? Mallory keeps all her secrets near and dear to her heart, prefering not to let anyone in on them because if she did, well they wouldn't be secrets any more now would they?
- INDEPENDENT: Mallory is the type of person to depend on no one but herself, after all, people let other people down all the time, but she has never let herself down. Except for maybe that whole Lucas, _ _ _ thing.
Secrets Mallory only has one secret: She got _ _ _ to hurt her ex boyfriend, and now she's indebted to him, which has been causing her more and more problems as of late.
Personality: Mallory has always been a rather stubborn person, even as a child. Although during her childhood, her parents more or less re-enforced as she was a child but scorned when she hit her teenage years. Generally, if Mallory wanted something a certain way, she got it, although that was a bit hard to accomplish as she got older then when she was a young girl of eight wanting a new barbie house to play with. Of course, her family is use to her wanting things her way. Most of the time though, it takes people a little bit to realize just how stubborn Mallory really is, its not something where just talking to her once could reveal who, or how Mallory really is -but how could just saying a few words ever really do that in the first place? Something that is a little more evident when you first met Mallory is her fierceness. She is a strong spirited person whose temper sometimes can actually be her downfall. She can be considered aggressive when it comes to certain things, although her teachers would probably never say she's aggressive towards her grades. They would more likely call her, well lazy. Not that she isn't smart, Mallory just tends to prefer to use her time on something other then homework. Like parties.
Malloy has been a party person since junior high, basically anyways. She loves to dance, even if its more like sex with clothes on, or maybe because of that, she still isn't completely sure on that one yet. Mallory is definitely not the girl next door type of girl, she's a bit too tainted for that title. If, and when, Mallory goes to a party, which if she can help it is often, she does tend to drink a little to much alcohol, although she is very aware that if she gets caught then she would be in enormous trouble, and not just with her parents. But that just made drinking a bit more exciting, and aside from that, well she's already cause enough problems in her own life, why not add a few more? Mallory may like to drink, but god does she hate the after effects: the hangover. She's generally very grouchy in the morning, and being hung over really does not help her disposition in the least bit. She does drink water for every bottle/cup of alcohol she has, and sometimes that helps... Well it helps if she hadn't drank her weight the night before.
*this is what I can do,
Abilities: Like Megara, Mallory is just your average human with no fighting skills, or powers. About all Mallory can really lay claim to having an ability at is manipulation, and that is not something that Mallory is exactly proud of.. Although it can be very helpful at times.
*my life story,
Hometown: Miami, Florida
Parents: Mary Beth Vanburn - mother ; David Eric Vanburn -father
Siblings: Ryan
History: Mallory Beth Vanburn was not the first child burn to the Vanburn's, however, she was the only daughter. Mallory is the second youngest of four children. It had come as a surprise when she and her younger were conceived, although one would think that after the first oops baby, they'd get fixed so a second oops baby was not made. However, no one ever claim that the children's parents were the brightest bulbs in the pack, or even if they deserved to be in a pack of bright bulbs in the first place. Of course, this would mostly be Mallory venting, since her parents had been able to bring in a lot of wealth, although Mallory knew that most of it was simply the family's wealth that had accumulated over many generations of Vanburns. Before Mallory's birth, her parents and two older brother had lived in Greece. Right before her mother became pregnant with Mallory, the family had decided to move to America, although Mallory's still wasn't sure why. She thought it had something to do with someone stealing a goat or something equally stupid as that. The family didn't often talk about what had sent them to America, although they did have a lot to say about the beauty of Greece. Mostly though, Mallory ignored them, since she considered herself more American than Greek, after all she was born in America.
Two years after Mallory's birth, her younger brother, John - why such a boring name, well frankly, she still wasn't sure, perhaps her parents were trying to think like Americans when they had named the baby- was born. After the birth of John, their mother had their father go to the doctor to get a vasectomy, claiming she simply could not handle any more children, especially if they were more boys! Since Mallory had been the only daughter born to the family, her mother and father doted on her, and her brothers tended to be a bit on the overly protective side, although her older brothers liked to torment her. Of her family, however, Mallory was always the closest with her younger brother, John. Growing up as children, when John was old enough, the two played a lot of games with one another. It was only during Mallory's preteen years that things between her and her brother began to change, and Mallory began to want to separate herself from her family begun for Mallory.
Junior High changed things for Mallory, as it does with all people. Of course, junior high is the time when you separate your real friends from your cool friends, which is what happened with Mallory, although this more or less meant that she stopped hanging out with her younger brother to hang out with a group of boys and girls who tended to get into more trouble then her mother would probably say they were worth. Of course, being friends with wild cards only helps create your own wild card, and Mallory ended up in the principals office more times then she could count. Thankfully though, Mallory had not been allowed to actually hang out with her friends outside of class without a member of her family being there, or else her trouble would not have just gone to the principals office. When Mallory graduated from junior high, her mother made sure that Mallory did not go to the same school as the people Mallory called friends, which really did not help things in the least. Instead, Mallory made new friends who seemed to be ... worse then her last ones, if that really could be possible in her family's eyes.
During Mallory's freshmen year of high school, she began to date this senior, Lucas. Of course, he was everything she had ever thought she wanted in a guy, although everyone else kept telling her that all he wanted her for was to get into her pants. Of course, Mallory didn't believe them and soon found herself deeply in love, or at least what she thought was love but really could be interrupted as teenage hormones, with Lucas. With all young teenage loves, Mallory and Lucas slept together, which of course turned out to be a dumb idea for Mallory. After the first, and only, time, things went down hill for their relationship. Of course, this was mostly because Lucas was exactly the kind of guy everyone had warned her about. What did their relationship completely in was when Mallory saw Lucas and another girl acting cuddly with each other. While before Mallory had never been the type to scorn love and all that kind of things, after this she pushed aside the notions that love even existed, which was fine with her family for only one reason: at least they wouldn't have to worry about her.
While Mallory isn't typically the type to what revenge, a friend of her's brought up the idea to ask _ _ _ to at least rough Lucas up a little, which Mallory actually decided to do. Of course, because it is against the law to harm another, or to hire someone else to harm someone, Mallory has had to deal with _ _ _ ever since. Of course, Mallory had kept this last part to herself, preferring not to get her family involved, because despite her headstrong ways, she actually does love them. While Mallory's main problems seemed to always involve _ _ _, Mallory has tried to straighten up her games, having seen a taste of how bad things could get if she let them. Of course, this didn't mean she was completely straightened out, or didn't enjoy the odd party or two. During this time in Mallory's life, she tried becoming close to her brother John, but he too was having some problems of his own, which Mallory wanted to help him out with, however, he would not let her.
Two weeks before the end of Mallory's junior year of high school, Mallory got into a car crash. Mallory was on her way home from a party, which she had only attended to watch out for her brother John, instead of being there to really party for herself. A driver ran a red light and smashed into the passenger side of Mallory's car. Unforunately, John had been in the car at the time, sitting in the passenger sit. John did not die, however, he was paralyzed. Mallory was in a coma for three days after hitting her head extremely hard on the stirring wheel. She broken her right arm. As a result from the crash, she did end up missing her final exams, however, her teachers allowed her take their exams as soon as she was able too. It was around this time that they discovered that Mallory was housing Megara. Deciding they wanted more for Mallory, Mallory's parents decided to send her to a brand new school, where she could hopefully start all over again. Of course, they weren't aware of Mallory's problems with _ _ _.
*how we do,
rp sample: Mallory drummed her fingers on the desk that was located in her new dorm room. She still couldn't believe that her parents had practically dumped her off at this place, and that her brothers had readily agreed with them that she needed to be here. Where Mallory needed to be was out, having fun with her friends. This was her senior year of high school, shouldn't she be living it up? Sure she hadn't really given this place the chance, but she couldn't blame herself. To her, this may as well had been a school for the weird. Under normal circumstances, Mallory may have felt a little bad for that train of thought, but here and now, well that was the lesser of all the thoughts going on in her head. She didn't need to go to a school that taught things like... Mallory looked down on her schedule: Heroines 101. Yeah she so did not need that class. When would it be helpful? When she was trying to catch a cab only for someone else to get into the one she wanted? Um, not likely. Mallory ran her fingers through her hair, it was an odd comfort for Mallory. She had always taken painstaking care of her hair, and she more then likely always would.
Bored out of her ever loving mind, Mallory stood up and walked away from the desk. Quickly, Mallory decided that she was going to go out to the courtyard she had seen when she had first arrived and gotten a tour of the place. It seemed like it could be a interesting place, and Mallory was more than willing to bet that other people would be there as well. It just seemed the sort of place that people would flock too. Normally, Mallory wasn't into following the crowd, but then again, normally she had people that she could hang with. She personally didn't know anyone there, and it was a little nerve wracking, if she were to be completely honest with herself.
Mallory paused only long enough to look in a mirror at her reflection: good. She may not be looking her best today, but she was still looking pretty good, at least she thought she did. She didn't really care about what the others would think about how she looked. It really only mattered how she thought, at least she told herself this in the past. As much as she wanted to claim not to care about other's opinions of her, she did, at least a little bit. Mallory left her dorm and turned right. She looked confident in where she was going, however, Mallory wasn't. She was just hoping she had taken the right turn when she came to the stair case. Good, at least she could get out of here. Mallory took the stairs down to the first floor, and left the dorm building through the stair case enterance. The sun was shinning brightly, and it made her wish that she had thought to wear her sunglasses. She shielded her eyes by putting her hands over them, waiting until they could fully adjust to the brighteness.
Mallory walked as her eyes adjusted to the sun light. She blinked a few times to help speed up the process, and soon she was able to look around her without having her hand attached to her forehead. Mallory finally found the courtyard, which was not as filled with people as she would have expected. The people that were there, well if she had at least known their names she would have had some kind of snarky remark for them about what they were doing.
