*i'm no supermodel,
Eyes: Green, average shape.
Skin: Natural tan, bby~
Build: Quite skinny.
Appearance: Cameron's not a large boy by any means. He eats, naturally, but is usually too busy lolling about in the sun to remember.
His eyes are an expressive olive colour, wide and curious. Cameron's terrible at hiding his feelings, so his face likes to betray him quite often. It in itself is round and boyish and, when he's happy, the most adorable grin breaks out.
His hair's curly and blonde. Though barely washed (he's a child who hates baths), it still maintains a certain spring and shine to it wherever he goes.
Unfortunately for his mother however, Cameron has the habit of exploring a lot, thus causing his clothing to become excessively dirty and torn.
Cam usually wears comfortable and worn clothing. Ordinarily, his mother takes the liberty of sewing patches onto his britches and shirts, making them a little ratty, but better than they were.
Finally, his legs are, not muscular, but toned. He runs around so frequently that he's built up a fair amount of strength in them, making him very fast and agile.
*this is me,
Weaknesses:
- Food :: Do you want Cameron to listen to you or do something for you? Give him a meal and he's like a puppy.
- Winter :: He hates it and often gets very sensitive and mopey. The lack of sunlight and all of nature dead really upsets him, so he's more prone to over reactions and outbursts.
- Fairy tales :: Read him a story and he's like pudding. He loves tales of magic and sword fights, and especially pirates.
- "Love" :: The only kind he's ever had was from his mother, and she's the only one he loves. End of story.
- Crying :: Cameron denies that he ever cries, not even once, but it's a severe weakness of his. If he doesn't get his way or someone being mean to him, it's not uncommon for him to tear up.
Strengths
- Courage :: Though he's something of a crybaby, it does take a fair bit of pushing to get him in that state. He won't hesitate to tell a bully they're being a butthead right to their face. He stands up for what he believes in, and is known for protecting others when necessary.
- Optimism :: Cameron always tries to find the silver lining. Also when times are tough for others, he'll typically smile a lot and give comforting talks before asking if they want to go wrestle and play outside.
- Agility :: Though he may not look it, Cam's a bit of a sprite. He's very fast on his feet, though he doesn't enjoy the running so much as where he's going.
- Generosity :: Cameron's greedy where it counts, but he is capable of sharing, especially if he likes the person. He really enjoys getting praise for doing good things and, as such, tries to impress people he admires.
- Empathy :: He knows what pain is, he really does. So when he sees someone in physical or emotional pain, Cameron will instantly jump to their aid.
Secrets He doesn't tell anyone about his abusive father.
Personality:
If there's anything Cameron is, it's irresponsible. He pays little to no mind to things that might come in the future, and focuses on the present. As such, it's typical that he'll forget to bathe, return to the castle by nightfall, and even neglect to go to class. This isn't due to his not wanting to be a good student, however. More so, he simply longs to behave like a child without responsibility.
Despite this, Cameron does knows when to buckle down and be a mature boy. For example, when he has a preplanned appointment or meeting up with someone, he's usually there. He loves being social, and honestly he loves to impress people. If you ask nicely, odds are he'll show up for class.
But beneath an exterior that could easily be classified as "childish", there dwells an angry spirit. One that is never satisfied with anything in life, and in all reality wants nothing more than to drag others down with it. This could be the reasoning behind Cam's refusal to grow up. At the mere prospect the boy needs to mature or be more responsible, he bristles like a porcupine and is prone to running away for several days, refusing to come back until someone else comes to look for him.
*this is what I can do,
Abilities:
- Flying :: He hasn't mastered it yet, but he's taking lessons for it. He can manage to hover and even glide a few feet.
*my life story,
Hometown: Marken, Netherlands.
Parents: Juliette and Dennis.
Siblings: None.
History: Cameron never had what one could call a happy childhood. His mother married a Dutchman out of initial love, but that soon turned into a nightmare. Dennis was prone to drinking and become quite angry. He would curse and break things and, in some cases, attack Juliette. When this started, Cameron was too little to do anything about it. Thus, he resorted to crying and running away for days, refusing to come back until his parents found him.
It wasn't until he hit eight year-old that he began standing up to the man, and that was a mistake. In a drunken rage, he went for Cameron, which was intercepted by Juliette and she took the beating for her son. Cam obviously fought this, and attempted to push his father off her, but it was no use.
Once again, Cameron ran away.
It didn't take long before the boy began reading storybooks. They were filled with adventure and magic, and fairies and swordfights, and even pirates. He immensely enjoyed fantasizing about these things, and eventually began playing make believe outside. After he'd convinced himself of his prowess, he took measures to break his father's booze bottles and bury them, pretending they were buried treasure. His father, of course, was the evil pirate he kept it from, preventing him from becoming greedy and angry.
This, naturally didn't work. Dennis then raged more, though sober this time, and let loose on his son. Cameron did fight initially, but he allowed the beating. If not him, it'd be Juliette.
One night, however. A fire spread throughout their small village. Juliette woke up, smelling the smoke, and immediately ran to her son's room and grabbed him and their money before racing out of the house. She left Dennis, who was passed out drunk, to be taken care of by the flames.
Finally free of the abusive figure in their lives, Cameron and Juliette moved to America. And though they were very poor, the two lived very content lives, free of emotional strain and physical abuse.
When word got out however, that Cameron was a special boy and to be enrolled at a school for magical students, Juliette allowed him to go. There wasn't much to give him at a small apartment and a public school. Though he viscously fought against her judgement, she eventually convinced him to go, and that she would come visit every day if she needed to.
