Mallory logged out of her screen name and pushed back against her sit, sitting there for a minute, thinking. Bitting her lower lip in thought, she finally moved and got out of the seat that came with the room for the desk. It wasn't a real comfortable chair, or at least it hadn't been before she pimped her chair out, so to speak, with cushions. She didn't think she could deal with her chair being uncomfortable for the rest of the year, especially since she liked getting on her computer, getting on websites such as facebook and twitter. She even liked getting on her messenger where she could talk to all her friends at. Friends she'd made before coming to this school, before dealing with the bane of her existence, and after all that stuff. Although really, Mallory hadn't made as many friends since she'd made the deal that would forever change her life. She'd found it hard to care about other people when she knew her life was being screwed.
Mallory quickly moved to her closest and pulled out an outfit, changing out of her pj's into something she could actually be seen out in. She made quick work of her make-up, not really caring to put on too much for someone she would just now be meting. Really, she supposed it wouldn't matter if she was meting him for the first time of if they had known each other since forever, she plain and simple did not feel the urge to put on a whole lot of make-up. And frankly, if she was truly thinking about it, she didn't need a whole lot. She had always been a beautiful person, although not always on the inside where she was beginning to realize was what truly mattered.
Once dressed, Mallory grabbed her dorm keys, making doubly sure she had them when she locked the door and left. She did not want to be locked out of her room, again. It would be embarrassing, to say the least. She'd have to either stay in someone else's room or go down and get a new key made, which she would have to do anyways if she didn't have her key. Leaving the door and the school grounds, Mallory made her way to the mall. The wonderful, fabulous mall, which always seemed to having everything inside. Mallory had always loved the mall, but until she didn't know how utterly awesome it could actually be. There were all sorts of things to do at the mall that could keep someone entertained for hours.
Mallory tried to keep herself from becoming distracted by everything, but that was a lot of work. There was so much that Mallory wished she could spend her money on, but she knew better than that. If she wasted her money on things she didn't need, she'd probably starve to death. Her family definitely wouldn't be sending her any more money until the next allowance week. It saddened her to think she had to live with an allowance when she didn't have to before. Going to school not so close to home wasn't cheap though, as her parents had pointed out several times to her when she had made a comment about the allowance.
Chocolate was a wonderful thing, Mallory decided when she finally arrived at where she had agreed to met the guy, Jack, who she had started talking to online. Dangerous thing to do? Perhaps, but it was no more dangerous than anything else she had done so far in her life. Hiring that goon had been a dangerous idea, and agreeing to do whatever had been dangerous. Or was that just a stupid idea?
