Ariel was dreaming. She knew she was dreaming because she was underwater and had a tail. She was pretty sure that when she woke up, she wouldn’t have a tail. She sighed as a group of fish swam past her, one even stopped to tickle her nose. Ariel giggled and tried to follow them but they only wound up swimming off into a cave. It was a dark cave, it look mysterious. Ariel stay close to the entrance of the cave, but never really went in. A Pair of yellow eyes were staring back at her from the darkness. Then she woke up with a bitter taste in her mouth. “Well... Now what was that all about?” She asked out loud as she got up and stretched. She was glad she knew where everything in her room was as she grabbed a tank top, cropped shirt and jeans before making her way towards the shower.
It took Ariel a good Three hours before she could convince herself to get out of bathtub and away from the water and as she did she nearly slipped and feel back in. She squealed slightly as she began drying herself off. Her Red hair looked silky smooth today, and her eyes seemed to be a brighter shade of blue. She smiled at herself as she started to get dressed. Not only was she wearing her mothers locket, but she was also wearing her Team Jacob necklace that her sisters had gotten her. She loved Vampires but hated The twilight movie with a Passion. Robert Patterson killed Edward Cullen. Ariel quickly brushed out her hair and applied some lip gloss and mascara before she walked out of her room. She didn’t throw on a jacket, it was warm enough to not wear one and she was looking forward to it.
Ariel tied her shoes on and walked out the door as she headed to Home Economics. She loved the cooking class because usually she got to keep whatever she made. She wondered if Meeko would want them, or maybe the new Security Guard Ezio. Something about him made Ariel think of HWR but she would push that from her mind for now. She walked into the class room and pulled her Apron on. The teacher wasn’t there considering it was the weekend, which was good because Ariel needed the time to cook for herself, so Ariel pulled out the recipe book that was always there. She found a recipe for Milk free sugar cookies and started on them right away. She didn’t hear anyone walk in as she began measuring out her ingredients, but she figured someone must have because she could feel that someone was there

I CRIED OUT WITH NO REPLY AND ( I CAN'T FEEL YOU BY MY SIDE ! ) Personally, Ezio doesn't know what in the name of all things holy and good (no offense to all things holy and good, considering the guy using the words doesn't even know what holy means) he's doing here. So Ariel had told him to look for her if he was interested in learning more about cookies - yeah, okay, that's pretty much an invitation if Ezio's processors were working right; but that didn't mean she wanted him today. Given, Ezio had flown her (flown her! Flown her, you idiot!) to her dorm room the night before, and she had called him a 'guardian angel' (which still made Ezio wonder, because that couldn't be true, could it? Him having something to live for?), and that probably meant she liked him. But Ezio wasn't even sure, considering his virtual lack of friends, his inability to be nice for more than an hour, and his general hostility and trigger happy personality trait. Thinking that Ariel might like him is something stupid, he figures. Maybe she just pitied the social failure, considering the good nature of her.
There's a feeling in Ezio's gut that says that's wrong, that Ariel indeed wants to be a friend, but his gut is made of metal, so he's not necessarily sure about that, either.
Walking into the room for home economics, Ezio realized he might have had to do a bit more preparing before deciding to haul his sorry ass there. He was silent, of course, quick as lightning with all the agility of a cat, but seeing that Ariel had taken a bath (well, the smell was unmistakable) made him feel a little miserable. And, wow, Ezio has a thing for parenthetical overkill.
Ezio probably smells like burnt sugar and grease. And metal and coldness and failure and revenge and anger and gunpowder and plasma, if plasma even has a smell. He resists the urge to wince, considering he doesn't even need to wince as it's only a human trait he'd picked up from his masters who, at the moment, he wants to shoot with the plasma blaster in his right hand. But he has to find them first. Of course. He has to find them, show them he did his job, and then blast their brains out. Yeah. That'll show them for leaving him alone and---
---Ariel's movements have changed ever so slightly, and Ezio knows that she knows he's here. He bites on his lower lip (but, oh, he feels like metal, not like human flesh, or that's what he thinks), and then he steps forward, lightly tapping her shoulder.
"Hey."

Ariel turned her head to look at Ezio and smiled before turning back to her ingredients before she spilled anything. “Hey” She replied setting down the white sugar before she could spill anymore of it. She turned to face him fully with a smile beaming on her face. She wasn’t expecting Ezio to actually show up on one of her baking expeditions, but it gave her a pleasant feeling in the pit of her stomach. She liked Ezio, more so than most of the adults at the school, and she wasn’t exactly sure why. Was it because it was just in her nature to love everyone? If Ariel knew the answer to that question, she’d probably lose her sense of curiosity.
“Come for a lesson?” Ariel asked moving to the oven and turning it on. She knew she had to preheat the oven to 375 degrees, so she pressed the buttons to make it go. Ariel was not very adept with technology. Half the time she was lucky to get something to turn on for her. She was way better with more hands on work, or sports. At one point even her iPod wouldn’t work for her and she was without it for a week, which was completely devastating for her, and she realized that it needed to be charged to work, Sadly Ariel can be quite airheaded at times.
She grabbed a big bowl on her way back to her work station and put in one cup of butter and one cup of sugar as she stirred. Ariel’s Father had always told her she would make the perfect house wife, even though Ariel wasn’t sure she wanted to be a housewife. She wanted to be a marine biologist for as long as she could remember, or an Olympic swimmer. Whichever let her be around the water more was fine with her. She looked back up at Ezio for a split second and she managed to spill some of the batter onto her apron. Ariel sighed and shook her head “It’s a messy job, but someone has to do it.” She said a smile playing on her lips again.
